Physics & Astronomy Quality Home

Welcome to the space flight quality program (web home) at The University of Iowa Department of Physics and Astronomy.

The University of Iowa Department of Physics & Astronomy (UI P&A) has developed a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant to ISO 9001:2015 Standard as it applies to our development of spaceflight scientific instrumentation. The UI P&A QMS provides an important means to assure customer satisfaction by continually improving processes to develop products that meet or exceed customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
